Quail Hollow Estates consists of approximately 50 park-like acres in one of the prime areas of Charlotte. There is the feel of living in the country while being a part of the bustling city. Quail Hollow Estates sets itself apart from other communities by having single family homes, townhomes, and patio homes.
Quail Hollow Estates began its first phase in 1971 and today embraces a membership of 269, consisting of 3 condominium associations and 41 single family homes. The condominium associations are Quail Hollow East with 82 members, Quail Hollow South with 60 members and Quail Hollow West with 86 members. Quail Hollow Homeowners Association is the umbrella to which all 269 members also belong. Owners belong to both the umbrella association and their individual association and pay monthly homeowners fees to both associations, as the areas of responsibility are entirely different and separate. QUAIL HOLLOW HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION is responsible to the entire community of its 269 members and is governed by a 9 member Board of Directors elected by the membership. Briefly, the areas of responsibility are (1) grounds, (2) recreational facilities (pools, tennis courts, lakes, and clubhouse), (3) architectural control over all properties belonging to the membership, and (4) the QHHA website. The Board meets in the Clubhouse the first Monday of each month.
QUAIL HOLLOW EAST consists of 82 units, divided into 5 garden type buildings and 7 townhouse type buildings, and is responsible for the common areas of East, exclusive of grounds/landscaping. A 5 member Board of Directors, elected by the membership, is the governing body of the Association. The Board meets in the Clubhouse the second Monday of each month.
QUAIL HOLLOW SOUTH consists of 60 units, divided into 2 six unit buildings and 4 twelve unit buildings and is responsible for the common areas of South, exclusive of grounds/landscaping. The 5 member Board of Directors, elected by the membership, is the governing body of the Association. The Board meets in the Clubhouse the third Monday of each month.
QUAIL HOLLOW WEST consists of 86 units, divided into 6 townhouse style buildings and 9 patio home buildings, and is responsible for the common areas of West, exclusive of grounds/landscaping. A 9 member Board of Directors, elected by the membership, is the governing body of the Association. The Board meets in the Clubhouse on the fourth Monday of each month.
